Sam Altman is now one of the top names in tech, but his high-school English teacher had different hopes for him.

Business Insider recently published a story where Sam Altman's high-school teacher - Andy Abbott - said he had hoped Altman would avoid a tech career.
Why?
According to Abbott, Altman was "so creative" and "truly exceptional," that he envisioned him as an author or something similar.
